A Visit to the Apple Tree Farm October 2008

So we got a call from Jerry's sister to see if we wanted to take a trip out to the Apple Tree Farm...We thought Sunday was perfect, the weather was nice etc. So we drive for about 45 minutes to get there and there are a million people and millions of cars! Oh my- it was so stressful (and I wasn't even driving), we couldn't find parking at first and after a 45 minute drive, you don't want to spend another 1/2 hour trying to find parking! But we finally made it and it's so funny. You would think that if your picking your own apples it would be cheaper than buying them at the grocery store...Well inflation must have hit because it was $17.00 for a little bag (not even as big as a plastic grocery bag). Go figure! We were glad to have gone though because the kids had a blast...Mmmm, I think I'll go to the grocery store for apples from now on though, LOL. Here are some pictures of our adventure.

How the Time Flys

Well it's been soooo crazy since I last updated this blog. I haven't had any time Being a PTA President is no joke. I am enjoying being "involved" but be careful what you wish for...We had a farewell BBQ for My youngest brother Mitchel who left for Irag in August. Funny thing is my other younger brother left for Kosovo last week. I feel sad for my Mom because both of her boys are away in the Military. One bright note, I'm gonna be an auntie.I'm so excited. My sister is due on 05/23/08, Claire will finally have a cousin on my side! Yey! Us not so much.. We haven't had any luck over the past year, but I'm sure God knows what he's doing and has a purpose for us..Life has been so stressful lately. Also, Claire just finished Winterball (softball) so we get a break over the holidays before the new season starts. We got a new puppy! Her name is Sakari - she's a full bred husky and she's so cute! All the things we've been up to!

Sooo many things have happened and or been celebrated, in the past couple of months Where do I start?...First we celebrated Jerry's Birthday, then my birthday, then Claire's Academic awards and Easter. I also have pics of Glitter Glam and an engagement dinner for my cousin Liz. I have been really involved in the PTA at Claire's school and was elected PTA President for the next two years. I am also Claire's Softball Team Mom and that has been a crazy experience. I thought the best representation of all that has occured would be a slide show to share our precious memories.
